Welcome to FitWitt

Real training plans, for real life.

Barbells

Let's be real. You have goals. Coming back from time off, an injury, a birth. Learning to lift and eat better as part of a healthy lifestyle. Training to support that new hobby of yours--jiu jitsu, or is it pickleball, or maybe marathons?

But you've got a lot going on. Maybe it's a long work schedule. Maybe you've got kids. Maybe you travel a lot. Maybe it's all three. Maybe you don't know what to do. Maybe you do, but you don't want to think about it anymore.

You need a path laid out before you to help you succeed, with the tools to help you when life gets lifey, and a training schedule you can stick to.

And it wouldn't hurt to have a coach in your pocket telling you all these things when the time is convenient for you, with the ability to help you make adjustments as needed, to progress you so you can meet your goals, to help you with your nutrition (because we all know that's key), and check your form to make sure you're doing it all right.

You won't find cheap tricks or hacks here to sell a program. No promises for wild weight loss in 10 days. Here, you'll get real advice, real science, and real talk.

Welcome to one on one training, in your pocket.

This is an individualized plan where you and I lay down the path to get you where you want to be, providing you the tools to actually drive change, and weekly check ins to ensure you're staying on track.

You get access to a program with videos showing you how to do each exercise, the ability to send me your own videos so we can make sure your form is correct or make tweaks based on your own unique anatomy, a nutrition plan designed to teach you how to eat to fit your goals (this is not your "eat rice and chicken 3x a day" plan), education so you know why we're doing what we're doing, and me, because having someone in your corner can make a world of difference on this journey.

What brings you here?

Coming back from injury and or giving birth

You got the "all clear" but no direction on how to FULLY get back to where you feel like, well, you. If you're looking for better info on how to rebuild safely, you're in the right spot. Be ready for patience, realistic advice, and an actual path to follow.

Want to elevate my training and results

You already have a background in training, but you're bored, not seeing the results you want, or frankly, just don't want to think about it more than you need to. Bonus: you have a hobby sport, and want to gear your workouts towards improved performance.

Hi, I'm Ashley

I love lifting. I also love baseball (passionately), jiu jitsu (so fun), coffee, great food, belly laughs, and hanging out with my two boys and husband. Life is more fun when it's well rounded and full. I feel that training should be a part of it--not all of it. It should add to life, not be life.

I've worked in and been around the sports world for most of my life. It has deeply influenced my take on training, from preparedness, to creating and maintaining athleticism through life's stages, to even working around injuries. In fact, I went back for my masters degree in S+C because I watched so many athletes get injured, and I wanted to learn how to help athletes prevent them and come back from them.

What started in my early 20s as a desire to provide people better information for fitness than what I was finding online went through a drastic shift during that time. Fitness became less about being smaller and more about what our bodies can DO. The mental shift was freeing.

It's been over 20 years now since I first fell in love with training. Along the way, I've trained every demographic from kids to elderly to the newly postpartum moms to the 20 somethings who just want to ball, worked in physical therapy facilities and gen pop gyms, and even worked with professional athletes. Now it's time to take what I learned and offer it to you, pocket sized.

At the end of the day, it's about helping you reach your goals, and about building each other up, rather than shrinking to fit the mold of what's expected.
